In 2007, the attorneys and staff of SimmonsCooper came together to raise almost $150,000 for local charities. Two blockbuster events filled the bulk of this figure.
In May, the First Annual Dinner and Auction raised $120,000 for the Boys and Girls Club of Belthalto, IL and Bubblemasters Underwater Recovery Team. The August Golf Tournament raised $13,000 for the Make-a-Wish Foundation of Metro St. Louis.
This has been a tough year for many charities’ fundraising efforts, but 2007 has been the best year yet for the Foundation. “It’s a testament to our employees’ dedication to helping the community,” said SimmonsCooper’s Managing Partner Jeff Cooper. “No matter what, they’re going to step up and give it their all to help. I could not be more proud.”

And, as we have for the past three years, we’re working with several local organizations to adopt struggling families to help give them a happy holiday season.
